There are three main rules that most professional gamblers hold as there "Golden Rules"
1. Watch your bankroll and only wager what you are willing to lose.
2. Never drink or do drugs while making a wager
3. Outsource your research on picks, but always double check the research on your own
Everybody has probably heard the first two "Golden Rules" but the third is less commonly circulated. Most people believe you have to be a math wiz or dedicate your whole life to researching horses and sports to be a professional gambler. This is completely unfounded and the shocking truth is that most pro gamblers or people who gamble for a living do is use handicappers or researchers that provide picks for them. This cuts out about 90% of the work. Now, sitting back and not double checking picks that are provided is foolish, so remember the second part of rule number three: always double check the research behind your picks. Follow these three rules provided and you'll be well on your way to starting your professional gambling career.
